Today’s meeting at Metanomics was opened by Yxes Delacroix (Producer/Director at SLCN.tv studios in Second Life).
Yxes told an interesting story about her upcoming wedding in Second Life, and how she swears only 1½ year ago that she never would be married in Second Life.
But times changing, and Yxes has another point of view today. Soon she will say “yes” to her coming hubby in the virtual world.
Wedding in Second Life are big business (from wedding planner, wedding dress, photographer, speaks, machinima, honeymoon, room/location, etc etc).

I blush as I read your blog, and wanted to thank you so very much for your kind comments about the “On the Spot” segment I did on Metanomics today. It’s true, I never did imagine I would do a wedding in Second Life, but it is an experience I am actually enjoying. I am happy to add it to my exploring and learning more about Second Life, and what can be enjoyed there.

I just recently got married also after saying that i could never see it happening in Second Life. I was wrong too!! lol … And a big congrats also out to Heidi Ballinger on your excellent website. I will be coming here often to check out all the great stuff that it has to offer!! Good job!!

I need to tell that the first place I as visiting in Second Life (after Orientation-/ and help Island) was Taurus’ place. And I was very proud because I was invited to his group “Viper addict” hehe (my first group tag over my head – so he somehow took my group- virginity, LOL).
