My first computer was a Commodore VIC 20 (20k memory!) bought on my Sears card. Skipped over the 64 to the 128, because I was not into gaming, but remeber the cartridges used for games and other apps for the 64. See Hello World 2.0

It’s almost impossible to believe that we had computers with only 20K memory! hehe.
Thanks for the link, it was nice reading your post and the story about the internet.

Our first computer was a VIC 20, then I moved to a C64, later Amiga 500, 2000 and finally an Amiga 3000 before I made the leap to a PC running Linux…

I just posted on my blog the other day about how I’ve gotten addicted to C64 remixes. Nostalgia is part of it of course, but so much of that music is great in large part because of the limitations they had to write to.

I’ve got less of an emotional tie to the Amiga music than to the C64 music, partly I guess because I spent more time gaming when I had the C64, but also in part because the Amiga music got closer to more mainstream music since it was so much more flexible. I still miss my Amiga’s, though.
